Groke’s cave

The lonely and ice-cold Groke lives in her cave far away along the Invisible Ninni’s path. The Groke is so cold that everything around her freezes, flowers wither, and leaves fall from the trees. Although the Groke sends shivers down the spines of the Moominvalley inhabitants and sparks excitement – there’s no need to be afraid at all! The Groke is simply very lonely, not particularly dangerous.

She is often seen holding a heart-shaped seashell, given to her by the Moomin family to leave Thingummy and Bob in peace. The Groke followed Thingummy and Bob because she was very interested in the suitcase they were dragging behind them, which contained the King’s Ruby.

Step boldly into the Groke’s cave and meet the lonely Groke – but be careful, the cave is cold!
